The visa is valid for up to 90 days with single-entry (USD 25) or multiple-entry (USD 50) options, processed entirely online in 3–5 working days.
Official Portal Alert — The ONLY official e-visa application portal is evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn. Always verify you are on a .gov.vn domain before entering personal or payment information. T&T Aviation can assist with document review and application guidance for aviation clients.
No country restrictions — worldwide eligibility under Resolution 127/NQ-CP
Maximum stay of 90 days — single or multiple entry options
Single entry USD 25 — Multiple entry USD 50, non-refundable
Standard processing — apply 1–2 weeks before travel
Go to evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn — the ONLY official Vietnam Immigration Department e-visa portal. Be extremely cautious of third-party and scam websites that charge inflated fees. The official portal has a .gov.vn domain and displays the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security logo. T&T Aviation strongly advises ALL applicants to verify they are on the correct government website before entering any personal or payment information.
You will need: (1) A clear color scan of your passport data page in JPEG format — passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date with at least 2 blank pages; (2) A recent digital passport photo 4×6 cm with white background, no glasses, facing straight ahead — this is the most commonly rejected item, ensure professional quality; (3) Your intended entry and exit dates; (4) The specific entry/exit checkpoint from the list of 83 designated ports. T&T Aviation can review your documents before submission to minimize rejection risk.
Complete the digital form with accurate personal information exactly matching your passport — full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and passport expiry date. Select your entry checkpoint carefully — this is binding and cannot be changed after approval. Choose single-entry (USD 25) or multiple-entry (USD 50). Double-check all fields before proceeding — errors are the #1 cause of rejection and the USD 25/50 fee is non-refundable.
Pay via international credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB accepted) through the secure government payment gateway. Single-entry: USD 25. Multiple-entry: USD 50. The fee is strictly non-refundable regardless of application outcome — if rejected, you must pay again to reapply. You will receive a registration code immediately after payment — SAVE THIS CODE, it is your only way to track your application status.
Standard processing time is 3–5 working days from application submission. Use your registration code to check status at the official portal. If your application is rejected, carefully review the reason provided and submit a corrected new application with a new payment. Do not book non-refundable flights or accommodation until your e-visa is approved. T&T Aviation expedites the process for aviation crew and VIP passengers through direct liaison with the Immigration Department.
Once approved, download your e-visa PDF from the portal. Print at least 2 color copies — one for immigration and one as backup. Also save a digital copy on your phone. Present the printed e-visa along with your passport at immigration upon arrival. As of June 2026, travelers arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) must also complete the free digital pre-arrival declaration at prearrival.immigration.gov.vn within 72 hours before arrival — this is a pilot program expanding to other airports. The declaration is separate from the e-visa.
These errors cause most rejections — review carefully before submitting
The most common rejection reason. Photo must be 4×6 cm, white background, no glasses, no smiling, facing straight. Selfies and cropped casual photos are ALWAYS rejected. Use a professional passport photo service.
Name spelling, passport number, or date of birth must match your passport EXACTLY. Even a single character difference causes rejection. Copy directly from your passport.
You MUST enter through the exact checkpoint selected in your application. If your plans change after approval, you must apply for a new e-visa. Choose carefully.
While processing takes 3–5 working days, delays and rejections happen. Apply at least 1–2 weeks before travel. Rushed applications at the last minute often result in problems.
Scam websites charge USD 50–150+ and may steal your data. Only use evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn. T&T Aviation can verify the authenticity of any portal you encounter.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. Applications with passports expiring sooner are rejected. Renew your passport before applying.
